COOK IV

Role Overview

The Club at Kukui'ula is seeking a talented and motivated Cook IV to join our culinary team of professionals. This position plays an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences through highly customized, creative, and high-quality food offerings. With a commitment to farm-to-table practices, our culinary team utilizes top-tier ingredients and expert techniques to craft dishes that delight our members and guests. The Cook IV will be responsible for preparing meals according to established recipes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and upholding food safety standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for culinary professionals looking to advance their skills in a refined, resort-style environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality independent or resort restaurant
• Culinary education or equivalent industry experience preferred
• Proficient in various cooking techniques and recipe execution
• Familiarity with farm-to-table or locally sourced food preparation
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mentality
• Positive attitude and passion for culinary excellence

Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to follow instructions and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior culinary staff

Salary Range

$23.16 to $27.25 USD hourly
